Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
- Troubleshoot network outages and performance issues
- Monitor network performance using tools like PRTG, SolarWinds, or Wireshark
- Implement network security protocols, including firewall configuration and VPNs
- Collaborate with software teams to ensure secure deployment environments
- Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN setups
- Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams
- Conduct regular network performance audits and capacity planning
- Provide tier-2 technical support for internal systems and clients
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Networking
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification (preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VPN, and firewall systems
- Experience with network switches, routers, and access control systems
- Understanding of Linux and Windows server environments
Desired Skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Eligibility Criteria
- Pakistani national with valid CNIC
- Based in or willing to relocate to Lahore
- Available for full-time, on-site employment
